A school reunion is a great way to catch up with old schoolmates whilst listening to the songs from the year you finished school. We did that recently for Scalby School, Class of 86
The great thing about a reunion is you're never stuck for
someone to talk to - you should know everyone there!
Here's our top tips for getting your reunion disco going:
Ideally organise it around an anniversary, like 25yrs,
15yrs etc Choose a venue that's suitable for people
to dance and chat early doors. They will have some catching
up to do, so a loud noisy venue won't help Rewind
Disco worked closely with the Scalby School organisers to
create a memorable music list for the evening -
concentrating on songs from 1986 only Try to have
some old school ties around for people to wear and encourage
them to come in 'uniform' How about inviting some
teachers?
For a great event, leave your partners at home! There's no time for introductions, just get in there and mingle.
